A simile is when you compare one thing to being like another. The words ‘as’ or ‘like’ are used for similes. In your work you included the following similes: ‘The top is dark like night’ and ‘The Deceptacon has wheels on his feet like a car’ Both of these were fantastic uses of language features, and they really helped me visualise the story in my head. It would be great to see you use some metaphors in your writing as well. A metaphor is when you say one thing is another thing. The words ‘is’ or ‘was’ are used for metaphors. Here are some examples of metaphors, using the image provided in your post: ‘The cloud was a dark force’ ‘The robot is a raging bull’ What is one example of a metaphor that you could say about this image?
